12DoC: Holiday Movie

Happy 12/12/12 everyone!

I wonder if anything cool will happen today? LOL Probably not but hey you never know right?! I'm SO excited to show you guys my nails today. The prompt for the 12 Days of Christmas is Holiday Movie and I did my absolute FAVORITE Holiday Movie... ELF! You can't go wrong with a Will Farrell movie! Lookie lookie! :)

- China Glaze Sun-Kissed
- Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
- Maybelline Color Show Bold Gold
- ELF Cherry Bomb
- Black Acrylic Paint

Love love LOVE these! They took me a while to do but I had so much fun doing them! Everything is free hand here which is why I'm SO proud of them LOL!

12 DoC: Snowmen

Good morning everyone!

I hope you liked my post right before this one if you missed it be sure to check it out it's a surprise!! :D Anyways today's prompt for the 12 Days of Christmas is snowmen and I'm SO excited to show you mine. I didn't really have any sort of idea when I sat down to paint these I just went with the flow LOL And this is what I came up with! 

Colors used:
- Sally Hansen Blue It
- Finger Paints Paper Mache
- Sally Hansen Crushed
- ELF Red-y Or Not
- Wet n Wild Kaleidoscope 
- Black Acrylic Paint
- White Acrylic Paint
- Brown Acrylic Paint

Andddd my thumb! :D

Loving these! The snowmen came out so cute! I actually wasn't going to put two snowmen on my thumb but when I made the first dot it was wayyyy off center so I kind of had to hahaha! Oh well right?

The fail that turned into a success... and another birthday :)

Hello all!

Today's my sister's birthday woooo! LOL Her favorite color is purple so I knew I had to do a purple mani!! I've been wanting to try a matte shiny mani with stamping plates but I didn't think it would actually work, then the other day a blogger, forgive me I can't remember their name, did one and it looked so beautiful! But she said she had to play with the top coat polish because some wouldn't work. I sat down today and got ready to try it then BAM super fail :( None of the top coats I own worked , I even tried to do it with my matte top coat and nothing! So instead of stopping at this failure I whipped out my holo top coat because I mean... everything is better holo-ified ;) I'm really loving how these turned out!

- Hits Hefesto

Mmmmm holo!!! :)

Look at that holo! LOOK AT IT! O.O lol sorry I get a little carried away ;)

I used BM-201 for the stamp and I have to say I really don't want to ever take this off! I like it way more then I thought I would!

So the lesson here is: even when everything you do fails... don't give up! Because you could be one fail away from one of your all time favorites! :)
