Goombay Gal Nail Lacquer Holy Holo

Hoooooly Holo! *.*

No for real guys! I've got a polish that I can't wait to show you, it's from Goombay Gal Nail Lacquer and it's called Holy Holo and I have to say it's so aptly named!

Holy Holo is a stunning silver holographic polish that just seems to glow from within. Even in the shade this polish has so much depth to it it's incredible! The formula was buttery smooth and it was fully opaque in just two easy coats. I'm very impressed, and slightly obsessed ;) Swatches below are two coats with top coat.

*UPDATE* after doing some research I've found that Holy Holo is actually a mood changing thermal polish! Mine never changed but I'll keep you updated as try to see if I can get it to ;)

GAWD! I can't even get over it, this polish is so gorgeous! You can see the depth so well in the first swatch photo which was taken in indirect light, look how it almost sparkles right in front of your eyes!

This is my first experience with Goombay Gal Nail Lacquer and I have to say that I am really pleasantly impressed. Goombay Gal Nail Lacquer retails for 9.99USD and can be purchase HERE! Make sure you stay up to date with Goombay Gal Nail Lacquer by following her:

LOOK Nail Color Swatch and Review

Hi guys!

I haven't done swatches in a while and I'm super excited about these! I'd like to introduce you guys to LOOK Nail Color. LOOK Nail Color is an innovative brand that looks to "promote self-expression with nail color and nail art. It's all about a 'LOOK'. [A] focus on all that is possible with nail color and nail art."

I really enjoy this brand because their collections are base on art; on what you can create with these the colors in each particular collection. I think it's really creative and I think that this brand has the potential to stand out in a super saturated nail polish market. I've got three colors for you from the 4th of July Collection "LOOK Proud", a classic red, white, and blue ;)

Oh Say Can You See
A royal blue jelly polish. Oh Say Can You See is my least favorite polish of this collection just because of the formula. It's a beautiful blue but the formula was just far too thin for me. I'm all for jelly polishes but this one didn't seem to even out, my swatch below is three coats and as you can see it still looks a bit patchy. Aside from the formula I'm still smitten by this shade of blue, you can never go wrong with a straight up royal blue!

Rocket's Red Glare
A pure brick red creme. WOW! Now this is what I'm talking about. Every brand needs a signature red creme and this is definitely it for LOOK. The formula was buttery smooth and almost a ONE COATER. Yep you read that right! My swatch below is two thin coats, although those of you with shorter nails could defiantly get away with one. I also want to note that most red polishes are big stainers around the cuticle and on the nail. I didn't notice any staining with Rocket's Red Glare. Color me impressed ^.^

Broad Stripes Bright Stars
A classic white creme. Okay most of you nail polish addicts know that it's freaking hard to find a white polish with a good formula, one that's not chalky or gloopy. Well, let me introduce you to Broad Stripes Bright Stars. This baby is the smoothest white nail polish that I've ever used and completely opaque in two easy coats. This was the most impressive polish from the collection purely because of the formula. Swatch below is two coats.

And that's it! I know a lot of you may be thinking that this is a pretty basic collection and you're right it is. But this company is new and every company need to build up classic polishes, the kind that will never go out of style. Every brand has to build it's identity and I think LOOK Nail Color is doing a great job.

LOOK Nail Color retails for $6.99USD for a 15mL 5-Free polish and can be purchased at select Walgreen stores. Stay up to date with new releases, products, and discounts by following LOOK Nail Color:

Born Pretty Store Beach Stamping Plate Review

Hello my chickens!

I've got another super cool review for The Born Pretty Store to share with you guys today!

For those of you who don't know The Born Pretty Store is an online nail art supply store. Their prices are super low and the quality is superb. This is my first time testing their stamping plates and I have to say that I'm really impressed. The images are so crisp and even the thin lines like in this beach party design came out completely clear. I'll defintely be buying more of these babies! ;)

For this look I started off with a base of China Glaze Red-y To Rave. Then I applied a layer of TLLB Glow-Stly to give it some extra sparkle. Then I stamped over each nail using the seashell image and Essie Penny Talk. Then I stamped over just my middle nails with the beach party image and Born Pretty Store's Black Stamping polish (review coming soon and you don't want to miss it!) Finally I sealed it all in with some Seche Vite.

This look is so perfect for summer and heading off to the beach!

You can buy this stamping plate HERE and countless other nail art tools at www.bornprettystore.com

Born Pretty Store Water Decals Review

HELLO PEOPLE!

Ugh! So let me just start off by saying I got a new laptop! Woohoo! Yeah that joy was short lived when I realized *ALL* of my photos and videos got deleted wtffffff T.T That, my friends, is why I haven't posted in a little bit. Not only did all of my pics get deleted but it took me a day and a half, yes a DAY AND A HALF, to redownload photoshop on my new laptop. Seriously I've had the worst time! But things are finally straighten out so I should be back to posting normally, thank goodness. Thank you guys for being so patient with me!

SO let's get on to it shall we. I've got a super fun review of some Born Pretty Store water decals for you today and I'm so in love with this look. These are the the 11Ps Nail Art water Decals and they are actually neon! I've used them over black here because I'm definitely the most intelligent person ever LOL But I'll be using them over a light color soon!!

These were so easy to use all I did was cut out the design I wanted, peeled off the protective covering and dip it in water for about 10 seconds. the decals slid right off the paper backing and I could position them super easy on my nails. I really don't have anything bad to say about. The Born Pretty Store carries so many different kind of water decals and they are so inexpensive. If you're just testing the waters with water decals I highly recommend these!

For the design I created below I started off with a base of Wet n Wild Black Creme. When it was dry I grabbed the water decals from BPS and applied them on half of each nail. I then added a small thin line of Essie Penny Talk on each nail and sealed them all in with a layer of Seche Vite.

I am SO obsessed with these! They're super cute and the honestly took me about a half hour to create. Simple!

These water decals from The Born Pretty Store retail for $4.42 USD and can be purchased HERE. You can buy these along with countless other nail art tools at www.bornprettystore.com

Bundle Monster Secret Garden 2015 Nail Stamping Plates REVIEW

Guys! Can I just tell you how excited I am to share this post with all of you? You know my love of stamping is strong and I almost always use my collection of Bundle Monster plates. Well guess what?! They've just released a brand new collection! Bundle Monster's Secret Garden Nail Stamping Plates are something totally new for them because they are buffet style! Each plate has full images on them, oversized so you can pick and choose what you want to put on your nails. I know there are some other companies that do this like MoYou but this is something that Bundle Monster has never done and frankly I really think they did an awesome job. And I've got the entire set to show you guys today so get ready.

WARNING! I've got pictures of each image plate so this is a picture heavy post. And you may be running to the Bundle Monster website to immediately order this plate set when you finish ;)

Loving the key image on this plate. Psst I've used it in a manicure below ;)

The strawberry image would make such a fun summer manicure! And who doesn't think that little deer is ADORABLE!

The definition of 'Secret Garden' doesn't that door look like it could transport you to a magical place?!

That top left image is so interesting! I think that would look awesome on the nails.

This plate is so fun! Look at that Penny-Farthing (bicycle in the center)! I've got so many ideas for that one.

Now this is my kind of plate, I absolutely love word plates! There's so many things you can do with them, and what lovely words on this one.

This one feels really celebratory to me, I'm not sure why, maybe it's the stars resembling fireworks to me. Nonetheless I really love the lily pad images.

Super pretty, this one reminds me of fall, I think it's the kite and the leaves and the wind that I'm imagining ;)

That peacock, just love!

Look at the cute little hearts hidden in the tree trunk!

So many different flower images on this one, I love the variety! And I so want to use that spring image asap.

Tiki face! So cute, you can totally make a gorgeous Hawaiian manicure with this plate.

Okay this lady's face.... I don't know about that one ;) Just kidding I'm determined to find a use for her. I really like these plates with intense images, you can create so many different looks.

Stop this pineapple image is SO FREAKING CUTE. I have to do something with it like as soon as I can.... like now.

More flowers, the variety of flowers on these plates is crazy awesome, so many different floral looks are coming to mind.

Okay I need help, what is that image at the bottom? Is it like a wood grain? Does it say something? So confused and intrigued at the same time! If you know what it is let me know in the comments!

Loving the cherry blossom-esque image at the bottom, and the bird with the design inside of it?! Crazy cool!

Big flowers! And if I can shrink that face down I'm totally using it!

The butterflies on this plate are so pretty and intricate. And curly swirly vines are always the prettiest.

This guitar is so pretty! I'm not sure how I'm going to get it on my nails quite yet though. But I've already used the swirly designs and absolutely loved them.

Such a cool design. That bird is so interesting.

Vines. Vines EVERYWHERE! I can see so many cool designs in this one.

Look at the cute squirrel! I really love how they put images inside of other images. And the apple tree is awesome.

Kitties, kitties, kitties, kitties (^-.-^) That kind of looks like a cat right? Love the leaves at the top too.

I almost missed the bunnies on this plate when I was first looking at it! Super cute and that chair is so fun.

These koi fish are just beautiful. I definitely need to use this plate soon!

I don't know about you guys but I'm absolutely loving this new set. There's so many different images to use, the possibilities are literally endless! I know I'm going to be using these plates A LOT in the coming days but I did create this look below as soon as I got them because I'm just so obsessed with the key image on the first plate.

I used plates BM-701 and BM-706 in the design below. I didn't top coat it right away because I actually liked it without, but my OCD won in the end and I top coated ;) Both ways are show below. OH and don't mind the nubs, I broke a nail on Saturday and I think a cried a little (a lot) filing them down, not that they were all that long but I had just gotten them to a length that I liked! HMPH! Oh well ;)

So what do you think guys? Do you have a favorite plate? I don't even think I could pick one! Let me know in the comments :)

Bundle Monster Downtown Collection Swatches

Hi guys! I've got some super pretty swatches to share with you guys today, I haven't done a swatch post in a while so I'm really excited!

The Bundle Monster Downtown Collection is inspired by the beauty of London, England. Bundle Monster took inspiration from classic, gothic architecture, the Tower Bridge, and Big Ben and the result is six beautifully subdued, creamy polishes. The photos below are photographed in two light settings because these polishes look so unique in different lights. The first photo shows the true color of the polish in a more natural light. The second photo is under more direct light which really brightens the colors. Ready to check them out?

Crowley
Cool toned, deep neutral purple. Formula was rich and creamy. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat.

Oxford
A dark neutral taupe. Love this shade! Formula was super creamy, but a bit less pigmented. Swatch is 3 coats with top coat.

Bristol
A darkened juicy maroon. Formula was rich and perfectly pigmented. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat.

Eaton
The most beautiful deep teal I've ever seen! Formula was smooth and applied like butter. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat.

Harlow
A cool, smoky navy cobalt blue. Formula was the same as the others, creamy and well pigmented. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat.

Redhill
A blackened burgundy. This was the only non-creme shade, it had a beautiful glow shimmer / metallic quality. I do want to note that this one had a bit of a strange smell, not like the others. It wasn't bad just different. But the formula was amazing and applied so easily. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat.

The Downtown Collection consists of six 13mL polishes and can be purchased at www.bundlemonster.com along with so many other beautiful polishes and nail art supplies. Make sure you stay up to date with everything Bundle Monster by following them:
