Animal print!

Good morning all!

I have a little change for you all today... not Christmas-y themed nails! Different huh?! LOL I did this mani the other day and love it WAY too much not to show it :) Also, I've come to realize that this blog is SERIOUSLY lacking some animal print goodness ;) Two birds one stone right?!

So the other night I went to paint my nails pretty late so I wanted to do something simple that wouldn't take too much time. I knew I had to take out the trusty stamping plates and the first one I grabbed was Bundle Monster's zebra design. Then I had to pick a color... I picked it the same way I picked my plate... the first one I grabbed. And let me tell you it's perfect! Take a look :)

Colors used:
- China Glaze Fast Track
- L.A. Colors Striper Polish in Black

So love this! China Glaze Fast Track is one of my all time favorite polishes and it goes perfectly! Fast Track is a medium toned tan with a beautiful gold shimmer. It's just a teeny tiny bit dark on me but I don't care it's too pretty not to love LOL

So what do you guys think?!

Playing with micro beads :)

Happy Saturday all!!

So if you guys follow me on twitter, I tweeted out a picture of getting my first set of micro beads yay! LOL That was a little while ago so if you don't remember that's ok ;) I'm finally getting around to posting pics of my manis that I did using the microbeads and I've got a full on caviar mani in the works too!

The idea for this mani actually came from my lovely blogger friend Emma over at Nailed Into You. She did THIS mani and I knew I had to try it!! She is so freaking creative you all should definitely go give her some love! :)

So here's my verison!

Colors used:
- Finger Paints Paper Mache
- Sinful Colors Black on Black
- China Glaze Unpredictable
- White Acrylic Paint

I wish I had used more festive colors like she did but I still love the way this came out!! I seriously would never had thought to do anything like this if it weren't for Emma LOL!

The micro beads were a slight pain to work with -_- They kept sticking to the toothpick I was using to apply them... Oh well the things we do for beauty right?! :) Oh and by the way I am in LOVE with China Glaze Unpredictable it's so pretty!!!

So what do you guys think?

Don't forget to check out Emma's blog Nailed Into You you won't regret it!!

12 DoC: Candy Cane

Good morning!

TGIF right?! Lol! I am SO excited that it's Friday! Even though I have to work on Saturday -_- Oh well! Today calls for another installment of the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge that Lorene over at Over Polished Nails and myself have created! The challenge for today is candy canes! I don't know if you all remember but not too long ago I did a candy cane mani which you can see HERE. I loved that one so much but I knew I had to do something different for this one :) So I pulled out the trusty striping tape and went to work! This is what I came up with!

Colors used:
- China Glaze Ruby Pumps
- Sinful Colors San Francisco
- Finger Paints Well Cultured Pearl

So sad my middle finger got kind of messed up :( *sigh* LOL I know green isn't really "normal" candy cane colors but I really LOVE this combination!

What do you guys think?

Make sure you check out everyone else's candy canes today!

Christmas Stripes: Part 2!

Hello hello!!

I told you guys there's another part to my Christmas Stripe mani and I'm finally going to show you today!! This mani took me FOREVER but it was totally worth it because the end result is gorgeous in my opinion :) So I'll let you guys decide! (Oh and don't mind the not so great cleanup -_- sparkles are SO HARD to get off your skin LOL)

Colors used:
- Sally Hansen Golden-I
- Color Club Ho Ho Holly
- Color Club Berry & Bright

LOVE this color combination! They were so sparkly when the sunlight hit them too! I still feel like striping tape is a huge pain in the butt but maybe... just maybe... it's getting a little easier to work with :)

I think next time though I'll add one or two more coats of top coat because as you can see it was still a little bumpy -_- That did go away after the polish settled over night but for the purpose of picture taking next time I'll add some more!

So what do you guys think?

Thanks for reading and make sure you enter my Super Awesome GIVEAWAY!! :)

The Lazy 15: inspired from another bloggger's

Good morning again!!

I totally forgot to write this post last night O.O So this will be a rather short post as I'm writing it right before I leave for work -_- LOL So today is the last day of the Lazy 15!! I had so much fun doing it and seeing every one's manis I will miss it for sure! The blogger I was inspired by is Lindsey over at Nails 4 Dummies She did an AMAZING water marble for that challenge day using black polish and clear polish. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to try it! She wasn't lying abou it being hard to find a clear polish the spreads well tho -_- Eventually I found one that worked sorta lol! Make sure you check out HERS though its really beautiful! And here's mine! :)

Colors used:
- China Glaze Glistening Snow
- China Glaze Angel Wings
- China Glaze Ruby Pumps
- Sally Hansen Black Out
- Wet N Wild Clear Polish
- Finger Paints Late Night Rendezvous

I've got a little bit of blue going on on my middle finger -_- Sorry all that polish stains SO bad!! LOL

If you guys read this post earlier you would know that I was having some issues with blogger -_- It was telling me that I've used up all my storage space and I just couldn't figure out why because I haven't been blogging for all that long! Well incase any of you encounter this problem I found that if I resize my photos wayyyy smaller it takes up next to no space... So now I can post pictures again YAY! LOL

So anyways what do you guys think??
