So for tinsel what can be better than bar glitter?! I mean come on it looks just like it!! Unfortunately bar glitter may just be the bane of my existence -_- Let me tell you this mani was NOT easy! I was working with the bar glitter for all of 5 minutes and suddenly I was covered in it!! Grrrrr oh well here are my tinsel on christmas trees nails :)

Oh bar glitter how I despise you!!! -_- Well this mani did sparkle for sure all.... 10 minutes I had it on haha! Bar glitter probably won't be making a comeback on this blog anytime soon though ;)

But what do you guys think?

I hope Santa brings you all everything you want ;) LOL

Moar ornaments!!!

Hello all you lovely people!

Today's design is done on my momma's nails! She wanted something Christmas-y so hopefully they'll last through the holidays! LOL As I was thinking of what to do I knew I didn't want to do red and green.... I'm a little red and greened out ;) So then we thought how about blue and gold? Turns out it's perfect! Take a look!

12DoC: Wreaths

Good morning everyone!

Today's prompt for the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art challenge is wreaths! I definitely love how these came out mostly because I got to use China Glaze Glistening Snow again LOL! I just can't get enough of that polish! So without any further ado, I present my wreath nails! :)

Colors used:
- China Glaze Glistening Snow
- Color Club Ho Ho Holly
- Color Club Berry & Bright
- Black Acrylic Paint

I wish I had put some black acrylic paint for the base of my wreaths to make them stand out a bit more but hey these are still cool! There wasn't any sunlight when I photographed these but as soon as i saw them in the sun I never wanted to take them off! They blinded me!! LOL

So what do you guys think?

Walking in a winter wonderland!

Good morning!

I've had the idea to do "winter wonderland" nails for a while now and I finally had the chance to try them out! I'm a little sad because it doesn't look like we are going to have any snow for Christmas this year :( But I suppose snow on my nails will help right?! :) Take a look! OH and before you say anything I KNOW my fingers are covered in glitter -_- I'm sure you all know how difficult it is to get glitter off!! LOL

Colors used:
- Wet n Wild Metallica
- China Glaze Agro
- White Acrylic Paint

I had a lot of fun doing this mani, albeit it was quite messy LOL. I really like the whole artsy / spongy / messy-ish look. It was pretty easy to create. I started out with a base of Wet n Wild Metallica and then ripped off a small piece of sponge and sponged on some messy green triangles. After that was dry I sponged on the snow at the bottom with a larger sponge dipped in white acrylic paint and then grabbed a teeny-tiny piece of sponge to do the snow on the trees.

What do you guys think?

The 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art challenge is resuming today with some ornaments! I wanted to do something different then just drawing ornaments on my nails and then I got a great idea!! What about half moon ornaments? Great right?! LOL So you'll all be seeing some upside down pictures today ;) Take a look!

Colors used:
- Sally Hansen White On
- Sinful Colors San Francisco

Loving it! I'm thinking I should have added some little hooks though.... oh well ;) There's always a next time right?! lol! I chose a green background because I wanted the ornaments to appear as if they are on a Christmas tree :)

So what do you guys think?

Thanks for reading and rememeber to check out everyone else's ornament manis!! :)

Review: Nail'd It Unique Polish Light Show and Peacock Squawk

Good morning everyone!

I'm really excited about today's review. This is my first experience with Andrea and her polish line: Nail'd It Unique Polish and I have to say I am SO hooked! The two polishes she sent me are Light Show and Peacock Squawk

Let's start off with Light Show!

Light Show is a pale pink/ milky white based polish with loads of neon glitters in it.... and I mean loads! There are also black glitters and a beautiful silver shimmer. As far as application I had no issues with this polish; it applied smoothly and I didn't even have to dab to get the glitter on my nail. Pictured below is three coats of Light Show and one coat of top coat I hope you like it as much as I do!! :)

Here are those black glitters I was telling you guys about!! ;)

And here's the bottle shot! :)

Totally gorgeous right!! I love these polishes that are opaque on their own! Also because the light pink/ milky white base is on the sheer side, when you build it up you get different layers of glitter and the effect is so cool!! Overall the easy application and beautiful colors makes this one a definite winner in my book :)

Next up is Peacock Squawk.

I knew as soon as I opened the package that I would love Peacock Squawk and boy, I was not wrong! Peacock Squawk is a shimmery, slightly purple metallic-y based polish literally PACKED with different colored glitters. The glitters are blue/purply/green toned with holographic properties. Let me tell you this baby SPARKLES! :) The application of this polish is the same as Light Show... no dabbing on glitter here! Pictured below is three coats of Peacock Squawk with one coat of top coat!

*Bottle shot of Peacock Squawk coming soon ;)*

I love the whole almost metallic-y look to this polish! And those purply blue green holographic glitters really make this polish stunning! All in all application was a breeze and the pigmentation is perfect! Winner winner chicken dinner ;)

Both of these polishes are so beautiful and Andrea is so nice! I most definitely recommend this brand to anyone and everyone! You can buy her polishes at her etsy store HERE (It's currently closed at the moment). And you can also buy her polishes at:
