Snowy leopard

Hello everyone!

I know you just saw some momma nails yesterday but I've gotta show you these ones too! My freehand leopard print is improving! 

So I bought my mom this really pretty gray leopard cardigan for Christmas and when she went to wear it I had to paint her nails to match! Take a look at my snowy leopard nails :) 

Colors used:
- Sally Hansen Magnetic Silver Elements
- Sinful Colors Slate
- Orly Shine
- Black Acrylic Paint

Needless to say she looked fab! lol! I want to do leopard nails again and improve some more! Anyone got any good color combos you would want to see? :)

Good morning!!

I'm having wayyy too much fun with these new Bundle Monster stamps LOL so I'm sorry if you guys are getting tired of seeing stamping on here :( I'm almost done I swear!! ;) So anyways some of you may not recognize the numbers in the title but it's actually a song.... which is currently stuck in my head -_- hah! 

Speaking of numbers, the 2012 Bundle Monster set has this really cool design that has numbers in it so I decided to give it a try! I did it on my momma's nails so enjoy! 

Colors used:
- Lime Crime Crema de Limon
- L.A Colors striping polish in black

Let me just put this out there: I don't like yellow polish. There! I said it LOL It's not that I don't like the color yellow it's just so hard for me to find a yellow polish that's easy to work with. Thank goodness Crema de Limon is mostly easy to work with! :) 

There's a story behind these yellow nails though. I had originally set out to do a cool giraffe print mani for my mom using the stamping plates because she absolutely loves giraffe. Turns out I have no good brown polishes for stamping -_- I tried stamping with acrylic paint but that was an epic fail LOL So I switched the stamp and the stamp color and viola! Number nails :) 

So what do you guys think?

New Bundle Monster plates!

Well new to me anyways ;)

Good morning all!

My mom ordered me the 2012 Bundle Monster stamping plate set and I got them in the mail the other day! I couldn't wait to play with them LOL! This is actually the second design I've created using them but I loved it so much I couldn't wait to share it with you all! So take a look at my houndstooth :)

Colors used:
- Lime Crime Pastelchio
- L.A. Colors striping polish in black

Ahh so much pretty!! I'm so surprised at how well the design transferred to my nail. I was afraid that the black polish I use to stamp wouldn't be thick enough for such a large area and it wouldn't come out good but I'm happy to be wrong LOL. *sigh* I wish my pointer nail was clearer though -_-

I may never take these off.... jk you guys know I can't resist but I'll keep these on for at least a day ;)

Princess Pointers

Good morning lovelies!

So here's the thing, my mom seems to have an unhealthy obsession with pintrest ;) LOL just kidding but really she loves that site. She's always looking at nail designs she likes and she found one that she wanted me to do for her the other day. THIS is the photo that she pinned from the lovely A Polish Addict. We changed up the colors a bit and I'm so happy because it gave me a chance to use my new Lime Crime's again woohoo!! :) Take a look!

- China Glaze Escaping Reality
- Kiss striper in silver

These are so girly and adorable I just love them! The pictures don't even do them justice in real life they were SO bright! I wish I had put some little rhinestones on them though.... next time right? :)

Layered stripe

Good morning guys!

Some of you may remember a while back I found a Pure Ice nail polish that when layered over black turns a really pretty green; being my first experience with layering polishes I was super impressed ;) Heck I still am super impressed LOL! Well I've been itching to use that polish again so lookie what I came up with this time! 

Colors used:
- Sinful Colors Black on Black
- Pure Ice Heartbreaker

 

I love the simplicity of one stripe right down the center and from far away it actually looks like the whole nail is green. A cool thing about this polish that I didn't know before is when layered over black it doesn't just turn green, at certain angles it looks blue (you can see it in pic 3) and when I put my hands under water it looks purple.. sorry no pic of that -_- I never realized how awesome this polish really is. :)

Mmmm caviar

Good morning guys!

So who wants to see some more caviar nails? If you do you're in luck! My sister got me these micro beads from Claire's for Christmas and I couldn't wait to try them out! The beads are a mis of blue and purple and the combo is just gorgeous! Take a look :)

I was apparently kind of stingy on my pinky and thumb ;) This blue and purple is such a great combo! It actually reminds me of an animal print... I believe there is a frog with these colors.... I might be wrong but that's what it reminds me of. Again these are so much fun but SO not practical -_- I wouldn't be able to wear these for more than an hour before I picked them all off LOL
