Dots!

Hey guys!

I know I know shame on me for leaving you again for so long -_- My intentions were good but I just didn't have any time. I know you guys probably don't want to hear my excuse but I'm going to give it to you anyways ;) The bank that I work at recently went through a whole system upgrade to help with security and such. Because it's new we're slower so my boss wanted to have more of us there so that the customers wouldn't have to wait a while. This being said I've been working six days a week since the beginning of April... SO MUCH FUN! I've just been so tired from working all the time that I just can never seem to be able to write up a blog post. Well no more! My schedule is finally calming down starting now and I've got some days off during the week so I just be able to go back to posting regularly. Thank you guys so much for sticking with me because so far as far as I'm concerned 2013 can just be over with lol. 

But anyways on to the nails! I was feeling a good ol' dotticure in my future so I sat down the other night and went to work. I started with a base of Sally Hansen White On and China Glaze Pool Party. Oh my goodness did I fall in love with this color. I love anything neon but make it neon AND pink and you've got me drooling haha. I did all the dots with a toothpick and black and white acrylic paint. 

I'm really glad the pattern came out the way it did. I was afraid that it would just look like a jumble of dots which would be just my luck -_- lol! My camera freaked out a little bit because we all know cameras hate neons but it's even more vibrant then this!

Stamping with Color Club Halo Hues :)

Hello all! 

The main reason I bought the Color Club 2013 Halo Hues is because I heard a rumor that they actually stamped. I mean I'm obsessed with holos and holos that stamp are just.... wow. Haha so you see why I had to order them immediately! And guess what?! It's true!!! I couldn't wait to try stamping with them so check out what I did :)

- Color Club Eternal Beauty

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is IN LOVE with this! I really like the whole purple on purple thing that's going on here and when I got in the sun it was just amazing! Of course it was cloudy when I photographed these so sorry there's no sun pictures :( And I'm not really sure what the black dot is doing on my pinky.... strange. Oh well lol!

Blue and Gold, Dots and Stripes

Hey guys!

So I'm kind of getting in to the whole "skitlette" nails. I'm a little bit OCD so this is strange for me haha. The striping tape design is inspired from the lovely Sammy over at The Nailasaurus. If you don't know her blog you're seriously missing out! She does some beautiful nail designs!

But now you have to check out my first almost "skitlette"! :)

- Essence Make is Golden
- Maybelline Color Show Navy Narcissist

I have to say I'm totally digging this whole almost "skitlette" design. I know it's not really a true skitlette but it's a pretty big step for someone like me ;) Not to mention blue and gold has always been one of my favorite color combinations. 

And I really like the combination of the stripes and dots I think it makes it really interesting :)

Color Club goodies and stamping

Good morning guys!

Whew it feels GOOD to be back! I wanted to come back sooner but life gets in the way I'm sure you all know that. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with my little blog this time. I know one thing for sure though that I missed all of you lovely people so much! I want to say thanks again for all of your love and prayers through this difficult time it really means so much to me. 

Alright enough with the mushy stuff ;) on to what you've all be waiting for... nail polish! A little while back I decided to treat myself and bought the Color Club 2013 Halo Hues. Best. Decision. EVER. I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I am obsessed with these polishes. You guys better believe that you'll be seeing A LOT of these polishes. As long as you don't mind at least :)

I'm trying out something a little different with my photos. New hand positions and new watermark what do you guys think? Also there's fewer of them... I kind of think all of the ones I had before were a little excessive don't you? So make sure you guys let me know if you like them! :)

Also I'm totally in love with Kismet. I should have taken a photo of it by itself it's such a beautiful color. Maybe I'll get around to swatching them all so you guys can see all the pretties. But I think the black stamping really makes it pop! I used BM-314 for the stamp.

I'm still here!

Ahhhh I'm so sorry guys! I know you all must hate me -_-

I'm not leaving you guys I promise I've just been trying to wait for my nails to grow out a bit more but with all the stress they just refuse to grow any length without snapping off :( Then we went through a conversion at the bank I work at so I'm working 6 days a week and on top of that I lost my memory card with all my pictures on it T.T It just seems like the bad days won't end but I'm determined to come back because I miss all of you guys! So don't lose faith in me yet!

Camouflage half moon nails

Hey guys

So a little while back I had a good coupon to Sally's and couldn't resist this yummy neon orange that happened to catch my eye :) So I put it on and though, "this would look amazing with a camouflage print on top of it" and bam! These babies were born so check them out! Oh but be warned... my camera, like most cameras, absolutely hates neons so I had to do some color adjusting so my cuticles look super weird! Haha

- China Glaze Agro

- NYC Sidewalkers

- E.L.F Desert Haze

This is actually my third attempt at camouflage nails, the first two were so bad there was no way I was going to put them up on here -_- I always seem to add to much color and just muddy the design, but this time I guess I finally learned where to stop lol! I also really liked that I mattified just the cameo part I think it gives it a cool effect :) 

And oh my gosh a can't wait for my nubblins to grow out :(

I'm back!

Hey guys,

I'm back! Well not fully but I'm going to try to post at least 3 times a week.. it's still pretty hard for me. I didn't mean to be MIA for so long but with all the stress of things my nails are complete crap... all they are doing is breaking :( But I can't stay away from you lovely people any longer so be warned I've got little nubblins. 

I also want to say a HUGE thank you to all of you guys; your love and support has really helped me through this awful time. Things aren't getting any better for me but just knowing that you're all here for me makes things a bit more bearable. I don't know how life is supposed to go back to normal... I'm not really sure what normal is anymore, but I need to try to get back into the swing of things. 

And I'm rusty at this whole nail art/ picture taking thing so yes I know my pictures are a bit blurry -_- *sigh* everything has to be difficult right? But my inspiration for this design came from the lovely Nailed It blog. Definitely one of the most talented bloggers I know! I knew I had to try THIS design and figured it would be a great way to jump back into nails. So here you go!
