Blue Leopard

NUBBLIESSSSS!!

Yep while I had my sinus infection ALL of my nails snapped off T.T So, back to the nubbly farm we go.....

Anyways I've been loving animal print so much lately and have so many ideas, like this one, that I want to create. This blue leopard accent mani is so fun and works great even on short nails!

I started with a base of LynBDesigns Absolutely Absolem. When it was dry I stamped over my ring and pinky nails with Bundle Monster plater BM-221 and PMTG White Undies. Then I filled in a few spots with China Glaze Mingle With Kringle. Finally I seal each nail in with a layer of Seche Vite.

I absolutely fell head over heels for this design. I love animal print and layered over on of my favorite polishes is just a match made in heaven <3

What do you guys think?

Thanks loves :)

Nude and White Floral "Lace"

One of my most favorite color combinations has to be the nude and white combination. It's so clean, fresh, and beautifully classic.

That being said I have a super fun and fresh nude and white floral "lace" design to share with you all today. I don't believe that this particular stamp is supposed to be a lace design but I think that stamped over nude like this gives it a pretty lace effect. So I'm calling it lace. The end.

I started this design out with a base of OPI Bubble Bath. I absolutely love this shade its the perfect nude and it makes your nails look clean and polished which is so important for a nail blogger like me because my nails get really stained from all of the different polishes I wear. When Bubble Bath was dry I stamped over each nail using Bundle Monster plate BM-204 and PMTG White Undies. I sealed all of that in with a coat of Seche Vite and finally added one coat of NYC Matte Me Crazy for a beautiful matte finish.

I could have worn this design for weeks! I'm totally smitten with it. The matte finish gives the classic color combination an almost edgy finished look and it's just perfect <3

Whats your favorite color combination? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks loves :)

Find A Little Inspiration

Winter sucks.

There's really no way around it, it's cold, there's germs and it's light out for like an hour a day. Who gets any enjoyment out of that?!

I'm going to get real for a minute, hold on to your hats folks ;) I have seasonal depression. For those of you that don't know me I also have extreme anxiety which, surprisingly enough I've finally got under control with the help from my doctor. But as far as the seasonal depression goes, winter can get real hard on this girl. I find myself looking for ways to keep the blues away and one of my favorite things to do is look up inspirational quotes. Laugh all you want but I absolutely love them, they can brighten my day without fail.

And that's why I love this plate from Bundle Monster's new Secret Garden set so much. It's filled with inspiring and warm words. Inspire, life, love, beauty and magic are just a few of the words you can find on this plate it's so beautiful! I created this look below and absolutely fell in love. Let's see if you guys feel the same.

I started off with a base of China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle. When it dried I stamped over each nail first with Bundle Monster plate BM-703 and PMTG White Undies and then again with Bundle Monster plate BM-705 and WetnWild Black Creme. I sealed everything in with some Seche Vite to finish it off.

I really really loved this design and I'm always looking for new ways to stay inspired and keep my head up in these harsh winter months. What do you guys do to keep the winter blues away?

I hope you liked this design, let me know in the comments what you think!

Thanks loves :)

Mint and white striped

Hi guys!

I. AM. IN. LOVE <3 <3

Oh gosh this may be one of my all time favorite manicures... like, ever. It's no secret that China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle is one of my favorite polishes, I never even thought to pair it up with some holographic sparkle, and white zebra print.... until now! Are you ready for some minty goodness?!

I started off with a base of China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle. When it was dry I added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. I sealed all of that in with some Seche Vite to speed up the drying process. Then I stamped over each nail with PMTG White Undies and Bundle Monster plate BM-223. Finally I sealed everything in with once more coat of Seche Vite and that was it.

Mint. Mint EVERYTHING. I don't even know how to express how much I love this manicure. I may wear it for like.... ever ;)

Just kidding! There will be a new design up soon!

Have you ever created a manicure that you never wanted to take off? Show me a picture in the comments so I can see!

Thanks loves :)

Let It Freaking Snow.... PLEASE

What is this?

It's January and we still haven't gotten a big snow storm. What the heck!

Most of you know I'm not winter's biggest fan... or even smallest ;) But I do actually really love the snow, I always say if it's going to be cold it might as well snow! But lately I've been noticing less and less snow, this year we haven't even really had a snow storm! How depressing :( So while you guys take a look as my nails I'm going to be in the corner doing some ridiculous snow dance okay?

For my nails I started out with a base of Color Club Over The Moon. When it dried I stamped over each nail using Polish Me To Go White Undies and Bundle Monster plate BM-323. I cleaned up the excess, sealed everything in with a coat of Seche Vite and that was it!

If these don't make you wish for snow I don't know what will! So simple yet so, so much fun. Now if it would only snow outside.... still dancing!! ;)

What do you think? What's your favorite season?

Thanks loves :)

31DC2014 Day 15: Delicate Print

Hey guys!!!

I bet you thought I was going to fall behind today didn't you?! I almost did since I didn't have anything done for today but lucky enough I got out of work at 1:30 so that's plenty of time to come up with something!!

I've still been so super busy so I decided to go with something easy today: some stamping!! I've got plenty of delicate looking stamp patterns and I'm happy with the one I chose for today! Ready to check it out?

I started off with a base of Essie Eternal Optimist, a lovely, delicate mauve toned pink. When it was dry I took Bundle Monster plate BM-323 and PMTG White Undies and stamped a lace looking design on my tips. Some Essie Good To Go on top and the design was finished.

I really love the way this almost looks like a normal french tip design and the base works so well with my skin tone. Super fun but still delicate right? :)

Now it's your turn! Post a link to your 31DC2014 delicate nails in the comments so I can see!!

Thanks loves :)

Swatches: Polish Me To Go

*press samples*
I've got some super pretty polishes from Polish Me To Go to share with you guys today.

Polish Me To Go is an indie brand, and a well known one at that. This is my first experience with PMTG and I have to say it has been amazing! I have five polishes to show you today and two extra goodies not pictured.

The first of the two goodies was the PMTG Cuticle Oil. If you know me you know I love cuticle oil and creams! I basically live off of my Lush Cuticle Butter and I'm always looking for some new products. And PMTG Cuticle Oil definitely ranks high on my list. It has a wonderful vanilla scent that isn't too overpowering. The oil absorbs really fast and after about ten minutes my hands aren't greasy at all. Before each of my swatches below I've moisturized with the PMTG Cuticle Oil and you can see that my cuticles don't look greasy, just nice and moisturized ;)

The second of the goodies was the PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat. I was super excited to try this out! The PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat is a quick drying, high gloss top coat that is said not to cause any shrinkage (when the polish pulls away from the tips of you nails or around your cuticle after top coat is applied, wicked annoying!) I've used the top coat in all of my swatches below and for a few other manicures and have to say I've had absolutely no shrinkage whatsoever. Top Me To Shine is nice and thin, doesn't smudge my manicures, and is dry to the touch in five minutes flat! This may even be my new go-to top coat.

Now who's ready for some polishes?? I do have to make one note though, the polishes themselves have a quite strong scent, I can't put my finger on what it is but it did give me an instant headache, this doesn't steer me away from these polishes at all I just thought it was a note worth mentioning.

White Undie is a pure white polish meant to be worn under glow-in-the-dark polishes or anything else that requires 'undies'. Because it's meant to be worn under it's extremely opaque, this is just ONE coat of White Undie. The formula was thicker because it is so pigmented but it was very easy to work with. Below is one coat of White Undie with one coat of PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat.

Liberty is a pretty mint polish that glows a stunning aqua in the dark. The formula was nice and thin and I used a coat of White Undie under the polish to enhance the glow and make the color more prominent. Below is two coats of Liberty over one coat of White Undies and topped with a coat of PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat.

Queen of Hearts is a bright orange leaning red creme that glows pinkish red orange in the dark. When layered over white this polish is seriously bright! The formula was smooth and thin and applied perfectly. Below is two coats of Queen of Hearts over one coat of White Undie and topped with a coat of PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat.

Tainted Love is a bright pink jelly with medium and small black glitters and a subtle blue shimmer. This polish glows bright pink in the dark. The formula was thicker then the others because of the addition of the glitters but still easily manageable. Below is two coats of Tainted Love over one coat of White Undie and topped with a coat of PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat.

Snow Glow is a matte white polish that glows bright aqua in the dark. I got the best glow out of this one it was seriously bright! The formula was thin and slightly gritty, I'm not sure if its because it's a matte polish or it's the glow-in-the-dark particle but I just added top coat and the grittiness disappeared. Below is two coats of Snow Glow over one coat of White Undie and topped with a coat of PMTG Top Me To Shine top coat.
