I've got the August Beauty Box from Pretty & Polished to share with you guys today and its packed full with goodies! This month's box comes with two full sized LE polishes, Cold on the Shoulder (thermal!) and A painter Passing Through, two minis, Opal and The Saga, a mini Fruit Punch scented cuticle oil, a nail file, and a super cute watermelon fimo stick.
Starting off with the two full sized LE polishes.
- A Painter Passing Through -
A gorgeous polish packed with fun glitters. The combination reminds me of peacock-esque colors, and it's great layered over any color. Just by looking at the bottle I can see blue, light purple, purple, green, darker green, and silver in a combination of circles, hex, and micro hex glitters. Formula was great, thicker because of the glitters but super easy to work with. Two coats over Sinful Colors Let's Talk below.
- Cold on the Shoulder -
A creamy thermal thats light / medium blue when warm and shifts to a teal / green when cold. This polish is filled with teal small and medium hex glitters with a bit of holographic micro glitters added in. The formula was buttery smooth. Three coats with top coat below.

On to the minis.
- Opal -
Another exculive shade, Opal is super packed with iridescent glitters in various sizes suspended in a clear base. The formula was great, a bit thicker but extremely workable. Two coats over Maybelline Color Show Navy Narcissist below.
- The Saga -
A creamy white crelly filled with medium red hex glitter, red bar glitter, green square glitters, and circle glitter in various sizes and colors (blue, yellow, and purple). The circles were a bit tricky to get out but storing the bottle upside down before you use it helps remedy the problem. The formula was great, thicker but applied easily. Two careful coats with top coat below. Now for the goodies. I don't have a picture of the cuticle oil besides the one up top but I did try it out and love it! The scent isn't too strong which I enjoy because I'm extremely sensitive to smells. The oil hydrated my cuticles and worked really fast and after a few minutes my nails didn't even feel oily anymore. Win if you ask me! And the fimo stick is SO FUN! I've never used fimo before because I'm a notorious picker so nothing that's raised off of my nail lasts long at all. But the fimo watermelons were just so cute I wanted to leave them on forever. Below I've got some art to show off those cute watermelons. :)
