Hey guys,
I'm sorry I haven't been posting I know it's weird but my boyfriend of 5 years passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and I really don't know how to manage the pain that I'm feeling. I don't want to stop painting my nails because I know he wouldn't want me to stop. But it just hurts too much to do it right now. I hope you guys stick around I promise ill be back. I just need a little time to heal these wounds just a little bit.
Thank you so much for reading guys.

Now stop! It's party time!
Hi guys!
I have to take a quick break from swatching all of Nicole's amazing polishes because... I went to a party! ;)
Last night was my mom's work Christmas party.... a little late right? Lol! I don't know why they do it like that but they do. So anyways my dad was working so I agreed to go with my mom in his place and I'm so glad I did! We had so much fun!! I knew I had to do some fancy nails for the party and decided that gold and black was the way to go because who doesn't love gold and black?! Unfortunately I ran out of time while doing these :( I was going to do the tape on all of my nails but I do like the way the gradient looks with it! So lookie!! :)
Colors used:
- Wet n Wild Black Creme
- Sally Hansen Golden-I
Oops looks like I smudged a bit! LOL
Doing some creative modeling to try and hide a chip ;)
Verdict: The nails were a hit! I'm going to have a hard time taking these off because I like them so much!
And if you're wondering what I did for my mom's nails I ended up painting them black and layering Zoya's 18k gold flake top coat for some sparkle and she loved them!!
So what do you guys think?

Glitter Me This: Bright Pink Holo review double stamped
Hey guys!
Next up is one of my favorite holos EVER! I'm serious when I mean ever! Lol! I mean what's better than a bright pink holo? Answers anyone? Nothing that's what! Nicole over at Glitter Me This has some seriously amazing polishes but this one really takes the cake! Take a look :)
Waittttttt.....
*Sigh* Would you just look at all that loveliness?! The formula is the same as the silver holo I showed you guys yesterday but even more opaque. I'm only wearing two coats in the pictures. It has a strong linear holo effect as well which is great! I don't think this pink one dried as quick as the others but it was definitely worth the wait!
Again you guys better go check out Nicole's Etsy shop HERE like asap! ;)
So what do you think? I've got one more coming for you guys tomorrow... think it will top this one?!?

Glitter Me This: Silver Holo review and some dots!
Good morning!
Well we've made it past the halfway mark! Woohoo! LOL This week feels like it's taking forever! Is it just me?!
In much better news, I've got another pretty from Nicole over at Glitter Me This! This time it's an absolutely gorgeous silver/ almost light blue linear holo! :)
Wait for it.....
BAM! |
The formula on this one is much like the light pink one but slightly less thick in my opinion. This silver is much less sheer, I'm wearing three coats for review purpose but you could definitely get away with two. It's also got a stronger liner holo effect which is awesome! :) This one dried just as quick, if not quicker, then the pink holo and I have to say I love polishes that don't take forever to dry!
Make sure you go check out Nicole's Etsy shop HERE, she's got some of these pretty holos for sale already!! :)
So what do you think?
Thanks for reading guys :)

Glitter Me This: Pink Holo review plus stamping!
Good morning guys!
I am SO excited for today's post! The super awesome Nicole over at Glitter Me This has sent me 4 AMAZING polishes to share with you guys! I love them so much I have to dedicate a post to each one ;) lol! The first one I'm starting out with is a light pink loose linear holo polish. Take a look!
You ready for this?!
yum! |
And then I couldn't resist stamping some little butterflies over it :)
The formula itself is very easy to work with. It's thick but not in a bad way. Because it's such a light color it was on the sheer side, above is four coats. It builds beautifully though. I was actually surprised at the dry time is was really quick especially for 4 coats.
She's got some gorgeous colors over at her Etsy shop so click HERE to visit!
So what do you guys think?

Review: Born Pretty Store Flocking Powder
Hi guys!
I'm really excited about today's post, Daisy from the Born Pretty Store recently contacted me to do a review for them. I was very excited to be able to get some blue flocking powder to try out. For those of you who don't know what flocking powder is, it's really small fibers that when put on your nail create a velvet look/ feel. It's super cool! The flocking powder from the Born Pretty Store goes for $7.99 and can be purchased HERE.
So let's get down to it! :) The package comes with a sizable container of flocking powder, a brush to brush off the excess powder, and some flat tweezers to make picking up the powder extremely easy.
So while I'm doing this review I'm just going to do a short little tutorial to show you guys how to use the powder as well :)
As far as the powder goes, it's really easy to work with. The fibers are very fine so you don't get any clumping. I actually bought some flocking powder from my local craft store and it can't even compare to it. The fibers in the store bought one are much larger.
To start off, paint your nails with one coat of a color that is close to your flocking powder. Because I am doing a design three of my nails are pink and two are the blue of the flocking powder.
After your first coat has completely dried paint another, slightly thicker, coat. Make sure you go one at a time here. While the polish is still wet pick up some flocking powder with the tweezers and sprinkle it over your nail. Don't be afraid to use a lot you can put the excess back into the container. After you've sprinkled it on top lightly pat it down using your other finger. It should look like this...
After that use the brush to brush off the excess onto your surface. And viola!! Make sure you don't top coat it after this though because it would ruin it! ;)
I did a little design on my other nails to show you guys how easy it is to work with :)
Flocking powder gives such a cool effect and it really isn't as hard to apply as I thought it would be. Wearability is ok, I would say it lasts about 1-2 days. Just because it is so fuzzy it's easy to come off, and it gets kind of weird when you get it wet (it does dry really quickly though). But it creates a fantastic look especially for a night out!
I would absolutely reccommend this product from the Born Pretty Store. Amazing prices and free shipping to boot!
Again, if you want to buy this flocking powder click HERE :)
Oh and before you do, Daisy was kind enough to give me a 10% off coupon to share with all of you! So make sure you use it! :)
So what do you guys think? Will you buy some? If you do don't forget to use my coupon!! ;)

Black roses
Good morning all!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and maybe you even have today off! Definitely liking these three day weekends!
So I had absolutely NO inspiration last night when I sat down to paint these nails. I literally stared at my nail polishes for a good 15 minutes just trying to pick a damn color! Sad but true... lol! So I made my sister pick a color and went from there :) The color she ended up picking was very sheer, I had to put four coats on and I could still see visible nail line pretty good so then I figured out what I would do, stamp over it of course! Check it out!
Colors used:
- Wet n Wild Blue Wants To Be A Millionaire
- L.A. Colors stamping polish in Black
OH and of course I just HAD to break my thumb nail yesterday *sniffle* I can't remember the last time my thumb was this short! It feels so weird! Thankfully the stamp still looks good on it ;)
So what do you guys think?
Thanks for reading! :)

Glitter gradient take two!
Good morning guys!
I hope everyone's Saturday went well! I was running around like a crazy person... not exactly sure why but it happens far too often -_- lol! But the good news is I did end up getting most of the stuff I needed for my 1,000 GFC follower giveaway which I should be posting within the next couple of days I just need a few more things!
So you want to know about the nails now don't you?! I decided to try doing a glitter gradient again because I got some new glitter polish ;) LOL I used the amazing Lucy from Lucy's Stash's tutorial to do it and I think it turned out even better then last time! Take a look :)
Colors used:
- Lime Crime Milky Ways
- Orly Bubbly Bombshell
I still need to work on the whole getting sparse-er as the glitter goes down the nail but I would venture to say that this was pretty successful!
So what do you think?
Thanks for reading :)
