Repeater

You know when a color combination is just so good you need to use it again?

Yeah, that's definitely what happened here!
My obsession with Colors by Llarowe stamping polishes is still going strong and that purple to turquoise color combo is just too good not to use again. Want to see what I created?

I started with a base of Wet n Wild Black Creme. When that was dry I applied Abstract Teardrop Stencils from Stick It! Nail Vinyls and sponged a gradient of CBL Lilac Petals and Turq'd over top. I removed the vinyls while the polish was still wet and sealed everything in with a layer of Seche Vite.

YUMMY!

I am LOVING this look, so fun and I love how crisp the lines are from the vinyls.

Small Hearts, BIG Love

I wanted to try out some new Stick It! Nail Vinyls since there's so many new one being released and these Small Heart Stencils are too cute to resist!

I wanted to do something simple that really showcased the vinyl design and I think I'm in love! So cute and fun, want to see?

I started with a base of ILNP Mega(S), when it was dry I placed the Small Heart Stencils over my middle and ring nail. I sponged over the stencil with CBL The Heart Bleeds and peeled off the stencils immediately. I cut one stencil in half and placed one half on my pinky and index nails and used a dotting tool to fill in just one heart with CBL The Heart Bleeds. I removed the vinyls immedaitely and sealed everything in with a layer of Seche Vite

I love how simple these nails were to create and the end result is just so sweet!

The Jewels

I've offically fallen in love!

In love with this nail design! You guys know that I'm a sucker for jewel toned manicures and oh my gosh, these are SO jewel toned! ;) I won't bore you with the silly details, let's just get to the look!

I started with a base of Wet n Wild Black Creme. When it was dry I stamped over each nail using CBL Lilac Petals and Turq'd and Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-S113. I finished it off with a quick coat of Seche Vite!

So much love! These are so fun and did I mention blindly sparkly?! I wish I had gotten a sun shot for you guys, but who knows, this may be the first manicure design that I recreate soon ;)

A Blank Canvas

I'm never going to get tired of testing out these stamping polished by Colors by Llarowe! I'm also never going to stop being amazed by how perfect they are!

I wanted to see how the stamping polishes would show up over a white base and I'm glad I tried it because the result is super cool! Want to see?

I started with a base of OPI Alpine Snow. When it was dry I stamped over each nail using CBL Enchanted Forest and Lilac Petals and Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-710. I sealed it in with one coat of Seche Vite top coat and that was it!

I love how stamping over the white base really showcases how crisp these polishes stamp. Getting crisp images with a holographic polish isn't a small feat and I have to say these polishes are quickly moving their way up to my favorites!

Tone on Tone

Oh hi guys!

Been a while huh? Man I can't even begin to tell you how hectic life has been, I've had teeny tiny nubs for SO LONG, it's good to finally have some length again to do some art with ;)

Let's just get to the nitty gritty, NAILS! Woo! I recently purchased a few of Colors by Llarowe stamping polishes to play with and OH MY GOD, I literally can't even. Yep I just went all teenage girl on you right now, but it's SO warranted once you see these polishes! I'm super amazed with how well they stamp, so you guys will probably be seeing quite a few manis using them in the near future.

Moving on, mint has been my go to color lately (always) so I tried out some tone on tone stamping. It's a bit more subtle in photos then it was in real life, but I think you guys will love it anyways!

I started with a base of China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle. Next I stamped over each nail using CBL Turq'd and the Winstonia Say I Do plate. I sealed everything in with Seche Vite top coat and that was it! Take a look for yourselves!

Minty goodness!

I almost prefer how subtle it looks, it gives it a classic feel.

Tribal Sparkle

Oh HI guys!

I did it again didn't I? I went totally MIA on you T.T
My office is currently in pieces, we decided to paint the room and we both realized that we HATE painting walls LOL! So it's taking..... a while. But I had done this sparkly tribal print mani a little while ago and forgot all about it! I don't know how, I LOVE this look!

I started by creating a gradient using Cupcake Polish Imagine and Believe. When my nails were dry I applied some Tribal Water Decals by the Born Pretty Store. I sealed it all in with some Seche Vite and that was it!

I LOVE this look so much! SO fun and SO sparkly!

Pretty in Green

With St. Patrick's Day quickly approaching I thought it was about time to break out some green polishes! I don't tend to gravitate towards green polishes often but every time I do them I question why that is because I LOVE them! And I got to use some Stick It! Nail Vinyls Multi Clover Stencils for the first time and the final product? Brilliant!

I started off with a base of Blackheart Beauty Jealous Type on my index, middle, and pinky nails and Color Club Kismet on my ring and thumb nails. When the polishes were dry I appliled the Multi Clover Stencils over each nail and sponged over them with Color Club Kismet on my index, middle, and pink nails and Blackheart Beauty Jealous Type on my ring and thumb nails. I removed the stencils and sealed everything in with a coat of Seche Vite and that was it!

I have to say I've never been the biggest fan of St. Patrick's Day, I don't not like it but more often then not it passes without me even noticing ;) BUT! These nails are super cool and hey who knows, maybe I'll even celebrate this year!

Nudie Ruffian

Sometimes simple is the best thing you can do.

Don't get me wrong I love crazy fun colors and intricate and beautiful designs but sometimes I like the simple and clean look of a natural manicure, like this one!

I started off with a base of OPI Alpine Snow and when it dried I painted the ruffian using a small nail art brush and Colors By Llarowe Hot Buttered Rum. I sealed it all in with some Seche Vite to finish off the look!

I absolutely LOVED wearing this look! So simple, so pretty! It was nice to take a short break from color and do something like this, I don't think I use these colors near enough.

For this look I started off with a base of Bear Pawlish Peek A Boo!.When it dried I stamped over each nail using the Furry Best Friends plate from UberChic Beauty and a Black Stamping polish from Born Pretty Store. I sealed everything in with some Seche Vite and that was it!

I love how this came out, and I love how easy it was to create even more!

P.I.N.K

Hi guys!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately, if you follow me on Instagram (@pinkandpolishednails) then you would have seen that we welcomed a new puppy into our home this past weekend! So I've been a bit busy with him... actually he's chewing on my laptop as I'm typing this LOL!

Anyways, let's get to the nails!

When I got the Puppy Love plate from UberChic Beauty this image totally reminded me of the Victoria's Secret PINK dog! So...... why not create some?!

I started off with a base of OPI Alpine Snow. When it was dry I stamped over each nail using the Furry Best Friends plate from UberChic Beauty, and China Glaze Glow With the Flow. I sealed them all in with NYC Matte Me Crazy for a matte look and then added some rhinestones along my cuticle and that was it!

I love this look! It came out a bit lighter in the photos then it was in real life but regardless, still cool!

And They Call It Puppy Love

PUPPIES!

I mean I know we all love nails here but I have another love too... PUPPIES! I have such a sorf spot in my heart for puppies, big or small, old or young, I love them all :) So when I stumbled upon the Furry Best Friends stamping plate by UberChic Beauty I just KNEW I needed to have it! And good news... I was right, it is as amazing as I thought it would be!

I decided to start off with a simple look with a few paw prints and a puppy face. What I like about these is that they are so unique, along with all of the  images on this plate, they aren't like everything I've seen before and I love that!

I started with a base of CBL Berries in the Snow. When it was dry I stamped over each nail with the paw print/puppy face images form the Furry Best Friends plate form UberChic Beauty and Mundo de Unas Light Gold. I sealed it all in with some Seche Vite and that was it!

I absolutely adore the way these came out! I hope they brough a smile to your face as they did to mine :)

A medium plum purple linear holographi. Formula was the same as the others, smooth and easy to work with. Swatch is two coats with top coat.

A stunning deep berry wine linear holographic. Formula was the same as the others, smooth and easy to work with. Swatch is two coats with top coat although it could easily be a one coater.

These are so perfect! The formula was so amazing and *secret time* these are my FIRST CBL polishes O.O But I am so impressed I will definitely be ordering more like.... today ;)

Anyways, my favorite has to be Berries in the Snow. It's such a unique and beautiful color, I've been into the vampy colors lately and this one is just perfection!

The Fickle French

I usually love french manicures SO MUCH!

Except for this one...

UGH!

I had such high hopes for this cute mani and it just fell flat for me :( The idea was great but the execution... definitely needed more work. Well, OH WELL! I thought I'd show you guys anyways! YOLO right? ;)

I started with a base of OPI Bubble Bath. Then I created the french tips using Stick It! Nail Vinyls Half Moon Vinyls and Mundo De Unas White. Then I stamped over the ring finger using Mundo De Unas Hot Pink, my Clear Jelly Stamper, and Bundle Monster Plate BM-H18. I sealed it all in with some Seche Vite and that was it!

I will most defintely revisit this mani one day.... some day anyways ;) But I still think its kinda cute :) What do you guys think?

L-O-V-E

Hi guys!

Valentine's Day is coming up soon so I thought I'd cook up some Valentine's Day inspired designs. I LOVE this look.... ;)

I started off with a base of Nasty Nails One Night Stand. When it was dry I stamped over each nail using Mundo De Unas Light Pink and Bundle Monster plate BM-711. Then I used my Clear Jelly Stamper and stamped the letters over each nail using Born Pretty Store Black and Bundle Monster plate BM-426. I sealed everything in with some Seche Vite to finish it off!

I am so happy with the way these came out! The Clear Jelly Stamper has really revolutionized how we stamp, it has made placing specific designs, like the LOVE letters, SO much easier! I can't wait to create more!

What do you think about this look for Valentine's Day? Would you rock it?

Thanks loves!

Cupcake Polish: Unicorn Collection Swatches

I am actually dying T.T

The beautiful-ness of this collection is just over the top, call it love, call it whatever you want but I guarantee you, you NEED these gorgeous polishes in your life! That's right, I'm talking Unicorns, specifically the Unicorn Collection from Cupcake Polish. Don't believe me? Let the swatches speak for themselves <3

Imagine
A stunning teal jelly base packed with teal and silver holographic micro glitters. Formula is on the thicker side but that's to be expected with a micro glitter polish but it was extremely easy to work with. I want to note that the formula on all five of these were the same, so excuse me for being redundant LOL! This polish dries slightly textured so you will want a top coat for sure if you want that smooth shiny finish. Swatch below is two coats, yes TWO coats to get a beautiful full coverage finish, I DIE, with one coat of Seche Vite top coat.

Magic
A peridot green jelly base packed with peridot green and silver holographic micro glitters. Formula is the same as the rest, thicker but definitely easy to work with. It will dry slightly textured so be sure to top coat to get that smooth and shiny finish. Swatch below is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Wish
A medium/light pink jelly base packed with pink and silver holographic micro glitters. Formula is the same as the others and it will dry to a textured finish so make sure you add your favorite top coat to get that smooth and shiny finish. Swatch is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Dream
A medium blue jelly base packed with blue and silver holographic micro glitters. Formula is the same as the others and dries slightly textured also so make sure you add a top coat if you want a smooth and shiny finish. Swatch is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Believe
A beautiful purple jelly base packed with purple and silver holographic micro glitters. Formula is the same as all of the others and make sure you add a top coat because it will dry to a slightly textured finish. Swatch is two coats with Seche Vite top coat.

These are SO SPARKLY! They are all so beautiful and I am so impressed by the formula. I rarely see a micro glitter that is completely opaque in two coats, if ever. Definitely happily impressed.

My favorite would have to be Imagine, I'm just so into teal and mint colors lately and with the added holographic sparkle this is a must have for me. But honestly I think they are all must haves LOL!

Cupcake Polish retails for 13.00USD for a 15mL polish. You can buy these pretties and so many more at www.cupcakepolish.bigcartel.com. Stay up to date with new releases, coupons, and so much more by following:

What do you guys think? Have you tired any of the Unicorn polishes? Have you tried any Cupcake Polish polishes? What did you think? I'd love to know be sure to leave me a comment!

What is a Tweexy?

Hi guys!

Long time no talk! The good news is that my boyfriend and I are all moved in to the new house and my nails are slowly recovering ;)

While we were in the process of moving, a new company, Tweexy, reached out to me to see if I would give their new product a go. I was super intrigued because I mean, what the heck is a TweexyTweexy is, "The first and only spill-proof, finger-mounted nail polish bottle holder." Sounds cool right? I thought so too so I was more then happy to give it a try. The Tweexy currently comes in three different colors: Spa GreenSapphire Night, and Bonbon Pink. I received the Bonbon Pink. What I really like about the Tweexy is how easy it is to polish my nails when I'm not home. I do use it at home as well but now I can polish anywhere! The Tweexy is super sturdy and it eliminates the need for a flat surface to place your bottle on when polishing so you can polish almost anywhere! Let's see how well it works...

Cute packaging, interesting looking product.

Claim on the side of the box, "Fits all bottles and fingers. No smudge spill drip."

To use: Squeeze the tabs on the side of the Tweexy to open up the finger rings and place on any two fingers. Insert the bottle and polish away! Remove by squeeze the tabs and pulling off the fingers.

I found that it fit quite comfortably on my fingers. I usually switch between my pointer and middle fingers and my middle and ring fingers. Both way are comfortable to me. The Tweexy is made out of silicone and it has a bit of weight to it so it takes a short while to adjust to but I quite like the look of it.

Super impressed, the bottle didn't budge at all when I turned my hand upside-down.

Fits mini OPI bottles as easily as regular sized bottles.

Even fits different shaped bottles like my VS polishes with no problem.

Overall: I am very impressed with this product. It's not often an innovative product comes along and blows me away but I think the Tweexy has the potential to become an essential nail polishing tool. Easy to use, fool proof instructions, and a quality product makes me sure that I will be using this every time I paint my nails.

The Tweexy is available exclusively on Amazon.com and sells for $14.95USD. Just search Tweexy on Amazon to purchase. Want to know more? Visit www.tweexy.com for reviews and videos and to learn more about the history about this company. Stay up to date with everything Tweexy by following:
