HNAC Day 31: Your favorite mani

Happy Halloween all!!!

So today is the last day for both of my challenges and I'm really going to miss them! I had a blast doing all of these challenges and I hope you guys enjoyed looking at them as well!!

Ok so day 31 of the HNAC hosted by Glitter Obsession is your favorite mani. I took this to recreate one of your favorites either from yourself or someones else. I decided to try to recreate Nail Crazy's blood mani because it was just so cool!! You can see what hers looks like HERE. She did a splatter mani and I've really been wanting to try one but I think I may have gone a little overboard O.O oops! :) Oh well take a look!

- Sinful Colors Black on Black

HNAC Day 28: Halloween Characters

Hi guys!

So we are nearing the end of both of these challenges... seeing as Halloween is only 3 days away! I have to say I'm going to miss having challenges to do every so often because they really pushed my creative-ness and made me paint things I never would have thought of painting before! I can't wait to get into another challenge soon! I can guarantee I'll be doing a Christmas one :)

Anyways, todays prompt for the HNAC hosted by Glitter Obsession is Halloween characters and I have to say I was pretty stumped. Like I said before I'm a self-confessed weenie and don't watch that many scary movies and I wanted to do something different. So I did what anyone would do in this situation.... that's right I Googled it :) One of the first pictures that came up was THIS one and I knew I had to try to recreate the little Dracula on my nails! I decided to just put him on my ring finger because I figured it would be too much on all of them. Take a look :)

I finally caught the elusive Dracula on camera! Whoever said vampires don't show up on camera doesn't know what they're talking about ;) And I just love his two different sizes eyeballs :)

HNAC Day 25: Mummies

Hi guys!

Today I have another challenge day for the Halloween Nail Art Challenge hosted by Glitter Obsession and it's mummies! I knew exactly what I wanted to do today and for once it actually transferred to my nails pretty well! Take a look all :)

Colors used:
- Finger Paints Paper Mache
- Kiss Black Striping Polish
- Ms Pedicure Red

Pretty cool right? :) Then I thought how cool would this look mattified?? And you guys know I couldn't resist! :)

I have to say I'm really digging how these look mattified :) And my pointer finger really isn't yellow on the edge I'm not sure why it photographed like that -_- Oh well!

So what do you guys think? Do you like shiny or mattified better?

HNAC Day 22: Ghosts!

Hello everyone!

So welcome to day 22 of the Halloween Nail Art Challenge hosted by Glitter Obsession! Day 22 is ghosts and if you all remember I did some Boo nails for my other challenge's ghost post which you can see HERE. But don't worry I did something different for todays prompt! Check them out!! And don't worry about the little guy on my pointer finger he just decided to eat too much ;)

Yay for glow in the dark ghosts!! I'm so happy I got these to photograph! :) Also I don't know if you guys noticed but the background for the ghosts is holo-ified! I can't get enough of the holographic trend it's just SO pretty!!

HNAC Day 19: Spiders :(

Hi again long time no read ;)

I am SO not excited about today's challenge day for the Halloween Nail Art Challenge hosted by Glitter Obsession... it's SPIDERS eeeeeeeeek! I am a huge arachnophobe so I did NOT have fun with these :( Ok enough whining from the sissy over here :) I decided that this challenge must be done and I would not cry my way out of it so I tried to make the little buggers cute, and I don't think I did so horrible! 

But FIRST let me show you a picture of my mani before I put the spiders on it, I knew when I was creating this mani I wanted a somewhat muted background but as I was going through my polishes I found one of my forgotten gems, HITS Hefesto! So I painted my nails with Orly Decades of Dysfunction and then put one coat of HITS Hefesto over it and WOW was I in love :) So in love that I needed to show you a pic of it so take a look at them all! :)

Gorgeous right?! (even though it didn't photograph so well)

I wanted the spiders to look silly and had this great idea to use actually googley eyes for the eyes but alas, I didn't have any so there went that idea! I tried to create the googely eye effect by just making very large eyeballs and they are almost..... cute..... almost :)

HNAC Day 16: Bats

Hi everyone!

Today's prompt for Glitter Obsession Halloween Nail Art Challenge is bats! Now day 19 in Lacquer Dreams Halloween challenge is bats too so we're about to get really batty over here!! (excuse the lame joke I'm tired LOL) Anyways, I found that I had more trouble with this prompt then I thought I would. To be completely honest I'm not a huge fan of either of the bat manis I did but I'm gunna show them to you guys anyways ;) Ok so here you guys go! Day 16 bats :)

 Colors used:
- All Polished Up Dark Blue (I'm just calling it that because there was no name or number)
- Ms Pedicure Red
- Black Acrylic Paint
- White Acrylic Paint

Yeah I know it's really hard to see and I should have used a lighter background polish but I was already way too far into the mani to start over by the time I realized it :( But basically there is a tree on my pointer finger with a branch extending to the rest of my nails and some bats hanging upside-down with red glowing eyes :) I really liked the concept of this mani I think I'll revisit the idea soon and try again with a MUCH lighter polish :) It's not the best but hey it's not too shabby either :)

HNAC Day 13: Tombstones

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the later then normal post today I did a really pretty design on my nails last night only to find out I had a challenge to post for today -_- but I just couldn't take off my design so you'll all be seeing some momma nails today :) I tried to do a ruffian-esque mani for todays challenge hosted by Glitter Obsession and I think the tombstones came out pretty good! Take a look :)

I almost posted the nails I used to enter Bundle Monsters contest but I'll save them for a later date ;) I'm pretty excited about entering the contest though!
